A great day for our Texas Longhorns genetic program

After months of planning today we flushed HBL Breana. Thanks to the great work by Rob and the team at Ced Wise Breeding Services.

Breana flushed 6 good healthy embryos. We choose to freeze 2 and transfer the other 4 into receips. All went well even with one embryo having to be surgically implanted into the heifer.

Fingers crossed August 2023 we will have 4 heifers on the ground by the new import bull Line Up, big thanks to the Dickinson Cattle Company and out of our great cow HBL Breana.

This will put our breeding program years ahead and we are so excited.

We will keep you updated on receips progress, let's hope they all hang on to thoughs embryos .
